Vendor Policies and Procedures
*You must submit your application and payment at the same time*
MaxFund reviews all applications for vendor/exhibitor participation. If we feel there is a potential concern or opportunity, we will contact you to discuss further.
Please return your application and check by:
June 15th to: MaxFund, 1025 Galapago Street, Denver, CO 80204
Please verify that the MaxFund has received your application and payment. You will receive one confirmation letting you know if you have been accepted as a vendor. You will receive a second confirmation with detailed event day information. if you do not receive this information, we have not received your application.
If you cancel your booth space at least one week prior to event day (by June 19th), we will refund one-half of any fees you have paid. If you do not cancel but do not appear on event day, you will not be entitled to any type of refund.
As part of your participation, please consider contributing a minimum of 20 percent of your gross proceeds from product sales to MaxFund. Vendors who will not be making direct sales on event day are also asked to make a contribution if possible. Every dollar you give goes directly to helping the homeless pets in our care. You may turn in your contributions to one of the vendor coordinators prior to your departure on event day. We thank you in advance!
- You must have a 10 x 10 ft., square, stake-less canopy and weights. You may either request a canopy from us (see application) or provide your own.
- A six foot table and two folding chairs for no additional charge.
- If you are requesting electricity, please bring a 100 foot extension cord for your use.
- You will be responsible for your own loading, unloading, booth set-up and clean-up of your area. Volunteers will assist you in setting up and taking down the canopies and tables. You can bring vehicles into the park to unload your merchandise, but you must have this task completed and the vehicles removed by no later than 6:30 a.m. If you arrive late, you’ll be bringing everything in on foot, as the park is closed to vehicular traffic. So be prepared to arrive bright and early
- You are to be open for business by 8 a.m. and stay open until noon. We ask that you not close or dismantle your booth prior to noon as the event does not officially end until noon and other booths will still be in operation.
- Please do not drive or park vehicles on the grass or undesignated areas – please park in suggested areas rather than near the playground and other structures as we would like to keep that area open for walk participants and normal patrons of the park.
- You are responsible for removing your own trash. This includes breaking down any cardboard boxes that you need to dispose of. Dumpsters will be provided.
- All vendors must stay in their designated 10’ x 10’ space to distribute flyers or to talk to customers. Following these guidelines results in equal access for participants to all vendors around you. This also allows participants to walk freely through the vendor area without causing crowding and flow issues. In turn, we promise to prevent non-registered vendors from selling or distributing their materials.
- Neither vendors nor others may sell pets of any kind on or near the event grounds. If you have dogs at your booth, please respect the same guidelines that apply to those entering the event, i.e., dogs must be at least 6 months old, spayed or neutered and on a leash.
- It is your responsibility to collect and submit appropriate sales tax to the City and County of Denver and the State of Colorado.
- You are requested to provide only those services or products described on your application form.
- You are not authorized to “sublet” your booth space in whole or part. You are also not allowed to share your booth with another company or organization – one company per booth.
Please understand that if any of the terms described herein aren’t followed, we may refuse your participation in this and future events.
Your signature on the application form signifies that you understand all rules outlined herein and agree that these rules represent a contract and that no other agreement shall be binding between the parties unless in writing and signed by the Vendor Coordinator of the Lucky Mutt Strut and another authorized MaxFund representative.
